Most headphones die of something small.

A battery fades. A cushion splits. A port works loose. On most pairs, any one of those ends the pair. On Mendo One, each is a part with a number, a price and a guide.

    Orange means open here.

    • Colour

Every screw is orange. You never hunt for the way in, and nothing hides under a sticker.

    • Size

All 17 screws are T5. The screwdriver clips inside the case, so it’s there when you need it.

    • Glue

None, anywhere. Gaskets and clips do the sealing, so every part comes out clean.

    • Labels

Every part has its number printed beside it. The same number is on the guide, the spare and the box.

    Sound first. Screws second.

Repairability is the reason to trust it. Sound is the reason to want it. A 40 mm driver tuned close to neutral, with a little warmth below 150 Hz. The chamber seals with a gasket, so it sounds the same after you open it as on day one.
